ArtWorks: "The Evolutionary Expressionism of Life Energy"
John J. Steven Cole, November 15, 1997
WASHINGTON, DC - The ArtWorks of the national/international visual Artist, JV Harvey, will be exhibited to the viewing public of the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area, December 3, 1997 thru January 10, 1998, during regular gallery hours Tuesdays thru Saturdays from 11 am to 6 pm. A public reception in honor of this artist's work will be held on Friday, December 12 from 6 pm to 8 pm at the ARTISTS' MUSEUM, located at 406 Seventh Street, NW, just one block from the Archives metro stop.
Mr. Harvey's ArtWork is filled with sublime forces of inspiration that elicit response according to the maturity, concepts and contents of the viewers own psyche, seeking it's ability to transcend all cycles of illusion that cling to ideas of permanence. Born in midst of the Solar Eclipse of July 1945 and the advent of the Atomic Bomb, the artist's life is proving to be his greatest work of art which expresses the powerful depths of transforming energy bursting into the aquarian age, beyond the boundaries and the ashes of the soon to be bygone era, and into the the new millennium.
In intimate art circles around the globe Mr. Harvey is known for his empowering combination of quiet sensitivity and dynamic focus. Through many private showings, his work has captured the interest of a cross section of society: from filmmakers, actors, directors, advertising executives and recording artists, to social, religious and political figures, vineyard owners and field hands alike, and has found its way into 'energy centers' in homes of private collectors and alternative healing institutions both here and abroad.
Upon recently concluding a successful art exhibition at the South Street Art Exhibition Gallery, New York City, the artist continues working in preparation for his upcoming International and National Art Exhibition 1998 Tour Season currently slated for Spring in EUROPE [Amsterdam, Holland - Frankfurt, Germany - Basel, Switzerland and Paris, France] and Autumn in USA [New York City - Washington, DC - Atlanta - San Francisco & Los Angeles, CA]. We invite you to celebrate in the creative imagination of JV Harvey's ArtWorks in this great circle of life on Friday, December 12, 1997 € 6 8 pm.
