LUCJAN KOWALEWSKI
Born in 1950 in Bia a Prudnicka in Poland and never studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, although art critics quickly recognised his interesting works and in 1981 he was accepted as a member of the Union of Polish (professional) Artists and Designers. Lucjan has taken part in several exhibitions of Polish art. Now he is one of the most interesting Polish painters that also creates sculptures (mainly in bronze), ceramics and does interior decorating.

WHAT APPEARS TO BE COMPLEX IS TRULY SIMPLE AND WHAT IS SIMPLE CAN BECOME EXTREMELY COMPLEX. THIS IS THE PREMISE FOR UNDERSTANDING THE GRAND CANYON OF THE MIND. IT IS SO VAST AND MESMERIZING THAT WE AREN'T ABLE TO GET OUR HEADS AROUND IT.
IT IS SAID THAT WE COULD TRANSPORT THE ENTIRE HUMAN POPULATION TO THE GRAND CANYON WHERE SIX BILLION+ HUMAN BODIES WOULDN'T BEGIN TO FILL UP THESE CORRODING RAVINES. ITS' STRUCTURAL PARAMETERS WOULD NOT BE OVERFLOWING BY ANY STRETCH OF THE IMAGINATION. LIKEWISE THE EXPLOSION OF EVERY NUCLEAR BOMB ON THE SURFACE OF THE SUN WOULDN'T HAVE ANY EFFECT.

How fortunate we would be to focus on such a common objective, to eliminate all weapons of mass destruction which would restore peace of mind for all of mankind. There isn't anything equivalent to this hypothesis except the collective consciousness of our heightened telepathic and clairvoyant senses of expressions through ArtWorks and its divine transference to change the direction of the eternal battle of duality.
The only thing on this planet is life and it just keeps rolling along like 'Ole Man River.' There isn't any escape. We have to cope with this fact of existence. Through the centuries the metaphoric motifs of art have symbolized the varying elements of style, techniques and approaches to exemplify life. We are still grappling with the concept that art imitates life or vice versa. Human beings are essential to the emergence of strength, vigor and vitality expressed in the evolution of our species. We are the greatest work of art.
What is the integration, intersection point of Humanity and Art? What is the diadem? The circle of light, the crown chakra opening above the head or the bottomless pit of which there may be no return? The human being is here not as an authority but as an Artist, a potential guiding light, a pointer to the infinite ways which free the mind's definitive assumptions and superficial attachments to all manner of limitations and restrictions through creative abandon. The efforts of each individual creates the genius of the human species as we shake up entrenched patterns of accepted behavior, reactions and/or responses. We must bring togetherness between human beings and art out of this unified field of energy without further investments in external or internal neglect of the creative spirit.
It seems throughout the ages, mankind's turmoil is obsession and/or intrigue in the narcissistic reflections of duality, the eternal battle between good and evil, right and wrong, and light and dark without having any joy. What is unusual in a typical act of war? Nothing! We have been doing wars for ages. What would be unusual is peace. We have been fighting for peace for so long that we wouldn't even know what peace would feel like in our collective consciousness. The inherited quality of human destructiveness passed down through generations has neither ceased nor desisted but has been deeply imbedded and ingrained in every molecule and/or cell of our being. The demons (demonstrations) on the battle field's graveyards indicate the tombstones engraved with tears of sorrow, sadness and regret for the deliberate and incomprehensible price we pay for the perpetual ignorance of our species, in collaboration for the annihilation of the many for the glorification of the few. We, the Artist throughout the ages, have depicted such images of bloodshed upon the living canvas of human condition. The infinite blood baths signifying the waste of human life needlessly is exposed and entrusted to show us, if we can see it, the errors of our ways. If we could learn not to hate ourselves so much then the remedy would be to love ourselves without doubt, fear and trepidation
We know we always have what we need, we just don't seem to know that! We have no excuses at all. The most trivial of complaints are expressed right where we are, here and now. The constricted, repressed and/or depressed energy of the human species creates pain and suffering, thereby producing desperation due to external impressions, distractions and manipulations. The mental anguish can be calmed, at eased and filled with divine grace when we let go! The Artist understands the importance of detachment and observation within the superficial realms of causes and effects by realizing that all needs are fulfilled by design.
This is the time the coalition of multi-cultural human voices are crying in the wilderness for peace once again, but of course we all know we cannot find peace in a house of confusion. When concern isn't for the welfare of the whole of humanity but the self-authorized chosen few, where do we find an actual state of peace in this nefarious realm of human condition upon this planet? The ArtWorld must once again answer the call for conscious awakening before we destroy all that is incredible about our human existence. The Artist within us must come to the forefront to enhance the enlightened domain of mankind's conscious awareness for mankind knows not what it is. The epiphany required is ensconced in the creative capacity of every Artist Alive to expose, reveal and magnetize the absolute truth of why we are here on planet earth.
We are the creative beings that witness the whole world of mankind as a living canvas, filled with infinite ideas, thoughts and expressions manifesting continuous transformations. It is the greatest artistic purpose and mission to affirm life, not to confirm it because life is already, here and now, happening! We ask, "What does everybody know that we don't know?" Nothing! We all have access to the exact same informational process of life's databank, however dysfunctional it may appear to be, it's perfect! It is essential to clear the space of uninvited influences and/or corrupted data by recognizing the GIGO button of the mind (Garbage-in, Garbage-out). When we look around, we can see that to be a masterful human being, an Artist within the conundrum of life's work, doesn't have to assume anything, as Dhiravamsa exclaimed, "Authority is the basis of conflict. Be free from it for a moment and see what happens. The freedom to be is the most important of all. This is the freedom to be free, without any authority, beliefs, traditions, knowledge, logic, opinions, teachers or books. You are really yourself at that moment."
This fantastic quality of our Artist is the charge to originate, authenticate and inspire the uniqueness of Creation's unfoldment through channels of evolutionary visions in order to keep the highest collective consciousness awake in the world. The human world has not gone mad, it is deliriously insane upon the earth where springtime is abounding in all of it's profound beauty and majesty. Artist get to work and keep working until the goals are accomplished for the whole of mankind to witness it's magnificence through the grandeur of this sublime existence. There is so much beauty to illuminate through the creativity as the world fires it's blazing flames like dragon's breath, or a potter's kiln burns to a crisp all the superfluous, irrelevant and insignificant aspects of the clay object. We the misfits, strange and odd creatures of creativity, inevitably transcend the imperfection of our human existence through persistence, perseverance, dedication and commitment to the Artist within everyone. We appeal for compassion, loving-kindness and understanding through our work without compromise in truth, honesty, character and integrity. This is a phenomenon.
In the world where pretenses, fronting, appearances, and disguises run rampant, cloaking and inciting agitation, irritations and frustrations, we acknowledge the endowment of stamina, guts and dynamics to penetrate to the very core of this human catacomb. We cannot deny the extremes of our intensity, however the equilibrium and balance of these forces of life harmonizes and soothes the human soul. Yes, bring forth the contours, the lines, the rainbow coalition of design radiating across the universe eliminating self-perpetuated divisions, isolations and segregation that use bias and prejudice as a shield. We must show the light and dark as a single point of power, the things that make the Artists' work essential and pertinent for the continuum of humanity.
The incredulity and skepticism to which we approach life's mystery is necessary in order to tap the inner source of our spiritual being. This is the affirmative that truth is beyond all words even the one's scripted upon this very page. The spark of imagination enlightens us to adventure into undiscovered dimensions of ourselves. The cycles are evident in the brief but particular experience of life itself. The fact of meaningless meaningful meanings is gradually realizing the foundations of thought power at work manifesting this fleeting reality. We speak about what has been recorded in the mind to validate and grasp the unknown. We cannot stop the process that expands the very nature beyond the beyond of all that is known. What everybody innately knows in the creative expression of the truth about life must persist as long as there is life. The Artist within isn't trying to change the world but merely impact it with the insight and wisdom necessary to master the work. Life's sublime beauty infuses the world which is automatically changing itself astronomically anyway. All things of life are swept away within time and space as new innovative, exciting things may appear and disappear alike. The earth is not a permanent home for any species, we are travelers on a temporal journey visiting the earth in all it's glory, therefore we come and go constantly. Extinction is an inevitability. We don't have to hasten the process with our aggressions.
We do ArtWorks for the wholeness of mankind. It is the demand of the gifted not to imitate life but to inspire life through the rites of passage. The quicksilver of creative artistic consciousness is at hand and we must not falter. We all rise and fall and rise again...Breathing-in and Breathing-out the natural beauty. We continue to learn to unlearn all the things learned that prevent the ultimate freedom provided by the universal power from operating 100%. We are not mistakes but opportunities to be, do and have a masterful human existence through the gift. As long as mankind threatens to do the thing he hesitates to do, the experience will not be completed from actual follow through. What a tease, lets do it and/or be quiet about it. We want to understand that which we do not understand and that keeps us motivated to discover as much as we can of that which we don't understand.
The echo vibrates within the mind to let go and flow naturally, but we still think fighting for peace will bring peace. It is when we give up the fighting completely that total peace is experienced. There isn't any judgment or condemnation of anything or anybody for all are merely playing parts in the divine comedy of life. There aren't any beliefs required to confuse this simple truth. What is important is present right here and now; it is where we are! We are the brief flickers of shinning stars creating a blinding light for the cosmos of our human souls to be enraptured by eliminating the inconsequential campaigns espousing our life energy for self-destruction...PEACE, BE STILL - EVERYTHING COMES TO PASS, AND SO IT IS!

substantiates his statement that:
"Ordinary human beings become divine apparitions; explicable earthly events are transformed into a drama of sudden spiritual transcendence".
It was the Sunday, Los Angeles Times Calendar, January 26, 2003 article, "A Moving Stillness" by Suzanne Muchnic, Times Staff Writer that first brought our attention to enquire into Bill Viola's Passions at the Getty. Traveling across the universe to the J. Paul Getty Museum atop Mount Olympus where the chariot ride emerged into a shuttle carriage on swirling trails of tracks pulsating in a timely pace, we ascended on high to the grand palace of bastion stone fortresses established as one interconnected link of the Great Alcoves within the Royal Kingdom of Exhibition Chambers for the mortals to meet and greet the immortals extraordinary works of Art. This is where life energy intensifies the Mist of Avalon's magical powers into the radiant circle of light encompassing the mind, body, soul and spirit of BILL VIOLA: THE PASSIONS!
IN A NUTSHELL, IT IS SIMPLE, BOLD AND SUBLIME! THE TOTAL EXPERIENCE IS VICARIOUS MEDITATION OF INSIGHT, WISDOM AND ENLIGHTENMENT TRANSMITTED BY THE CREATIVE GENIUS WITHIN ALL LIVING BEINGS.
'The Evolutionary Expressionism of Life Energy' is clearly at work here. The cosmic womb of Mother earth and Father spirit collide in birth and death motifs moment to moment as the processes of life energy continues to transform the rooms. Aura May Holden, author of 'Consciousness and It's Purpose' 1931, profoundly stated, "Illumination is that which bestows upon the individual a clarity of thought through which is the mystery of creative life revealed." This is an appropriate description of the embodiment of Bill Viola's Exhibit. We are consciously made aware of the commonality of all the innate emotional expressions as evolving spiritual beings inhibiting the human form in the visible and invisible realms of our existence. The overwhelming clashes of extreme electrical currents charging through our neurological, psychical and mental domains explodes atomic bombs, welling and mushrooming into breakthroughs from silent pain which succumbs to the calmer cycles of life during the fallout phrases and eventual settling into quietude before exploding again. The inevitable quest for the opening portals to other dimensions of familiar reality in the multifaceted human existence is the conquest of mind over matter. We are alone (All -One) unified field of energy particles of light beings dancing in a choreographed, programmatic behavioral pattern of shifting and expanding creations. There isn't anything permanent about our ethereal, momentary and transient existence which provides comfort but release and liberation from earthy confinements. Viola's demonstration of the emotional forces within the cosmic organization stimulates order out of chaos. This quality is specific in the playout of life's human creatures emerging from and dissolving into the firmament as celestial beings, potential Gods and Goddesses of human self-mastery. The contact between spirit and matter is evident in this tech no-visual manifestation as displayed in the final chamber with 'FIVE ANGELS FOR THE MILLENNIUM...' which encompasses the total spectrum of life within this Universe's Cosmic Dance.
Yes, while moving through the stillness from room to room in translucent darkness there is a feeling of suspension in spaciousness. The Stargate portals opened into the whirlpool of fluid, liquid, elixir purging the Noble Being of all impurities. The source of lights formulating the fetus of the child's Alpha and Omega Being. These revelations haven't any reservations in showing the cataclysmic climaxes of sheer ecstasy.
THE TRUTH THAT HEAVEN AND EARTH CONCEPTS ARE SHAKEN TO THE VERY CORE COMMANDING THE CONTROLS OF HUMAN SYSTEMS OF LIFE IN THE UNIVERSE TO YIELD IS INTENSE CYBERNETICS!
There isn't any doubt that the vibrations of sound whether silent or raging, interspersed with this visually living art rips apart all delusions of human grandeur and shatters the senses of psychical permanency to shreds for all times. We cannot withstand the vulnerability of nature under the influences of the powers that be as beings constantly bursting forth into supernovas eternal consciousness. We are magnificent. We are also little itty bitty concepts of life energy in day to day survival modes on the grand scale of things seen and unseen. There is a transcendence from the lowest vibrations of spirit in matter to the utmost highest spirit in spirit as one sojourns through the corridors of Everest Himalayan Peak. It is a great freedom for those individuals with the capacity of self empowerment to stop, look and listen. We suggest that one should create the time to visit this exhibit running in the Kingdom of the Getty until April 27, 2003 - VOILA! OH YES, BILL VIOLA, BRAVO! - VIOLA!

REENA MARY THOMAS
...is an emerging Visual Artist of Indian origin currently based in Dubai, UAE (United Arab Emirates). She earned her Masters in Physics from Kerala University in South India and loves to teach and discuss it's various topics of relativity regarding life and nature. She is an accomplished self-taught artist, specializing mainly in Acrylics, be it landscape, floral or abstract as she continues to grow and develop her creative gifts. The ArtWorks created through the medium of Ms. Thomas are in corporate and private collections as well as represented in art galleries nationally and internationally. Reena aspires to convey the truth in her ArtWorks that the entire world is of God and we should try to admire each of God's creations and walk closer in this Divine Presence. In a recent interview with Ms. Thomas, she has this to share with the world at large:
"I paint what generally forces me instantly to paint, sometimes it could be a beautiful pot with anthuriums, adjusting its tones to sunlight falling on it or a flash of light falling onto leaves at night. It then takes me a few hours of studying and analysis to arrive at the truth behind it -- trying to find out what was there in it that made me think so much about it and finally, leads me into taking my brush and paint and quickly putting its truth onto the canvas before my ideas become stagnant. I paint anything or everything connected to nature, like a beautiful garden, sunset on water, a country roadä or anything else that seems to touch me -- talk to me. My interest in painting probably began during childhood when I started seeing my maternal uncle R.M. Mathew who kindled the passion for art in me by his creating beautiful paintings on wild life. He has now branched off into another vocation in Dubai where he lives and continues to be one of my most feared critics till date. I was determined to take up the challenge and find out how to paint and use colours. I was fascinated by the techniques of colours mixing together to create a new colour and my drawings turning into depiction's of nature. The more I concentrated, the more I could learn out of it. While the culture in which I was brought up and the one I live in now, do not really encourage me to paint but when I look around at the world and it's inherent beauty, I'm encouraged in more ways than one can imagine.
ANTHURIUMS IN DARK
My vision of paintings or art will definitely inspire mankind to find out more about God's love for us, which will turn into a faithful consciousness and understanding of the meaning and purpose of life much better. Through my paintings I attempt to pass down the simple message that we are all just creations of God just like a beautiful river scene, the glory of setting sun, a beautiful flower dancing in the garden and so on. We as humans must embrace God's will in order to survive on earth in admiration of it's beauty only by God's grace, which is indeed sufficient for life.
As stated before, when I'm inspired to draw a particular scene, the first step I take is to analyse the truth in it, it's radiant beauty, what makes it so unique to paint it and find out it's message to the world. Next step would be to compose the painting in my mind while attempting to bring out this truth and then transfer my ideas onto the medium, the void space of canvas. The late great Indian Master Raja Ravi Varma's paintings have always influenced me since childhood as well. I had the opportunity to see his original paintings, study his life and works. He was a self-taught artist and was mainly a figurative painter. During subsequent years my fascination turned towards Masters like John Constable, MonËt, Turner and Wilson ‚ to name a few. As I mentioned earlier my most difficult challenge is to depict reality as seen. It is sometimes painful, and/or simply an impossibility. I don't really consider my ArtWork as being much different from other ArtWorks, but I have the feeling that my paintings in a way are different because each painting has it's unique theme or subject that originates from within me.
The simple truth that each and every object is unique and each has it's own beauty and charm. No - body can ever reproduce any object of nature. If you are trying to reproduce an old master painting, it can never be done with the same brightness, subtlety and meaning as done by the original creator of that a art work. So is the case with any object of nature."

We cannot go without sharing our profound gratitude to the powers that be for guiding us through all of the experiences of this incredible sojourn. We truly appreciate the contributions on every level imaged from everybody in support of our efforts to collectively bring about loving-kindness, peace and goodwill to all of human kind. Now is the time and the time is now to give thanks, for the whole of creation has mobilized to bring about an harmonious convergence for the sake of humanity. The gangs of the world are posed to transform themselves to a higher consciousness by the divine being within. And so it is - we do not have to create that which we do not have to create - the wheel is done!
